Welcome to Paranormal Eyes

No, I don’t see dead people, but I do have paranormal eyes. I have spent over nine years of my adult life investigating claims of the unknown in the state of Oklahoma and across the nation. I have a proven track record with my research within the community and a strong no nonsense approach to paranormal investigating. I have witnessed a few things that I would say that were truly unexplainable in my eyes, but then again, I have witnessed many things that can easily be explained away. These are the things that are  often ignored by my fellow ghost hunters across the nation.

In all of my paranormal adventures, I have learned a few tricks of the trade when it comes to hunting ghosts. I have studied the phantoms that seem to generate fear in people world wide. I have watched, observed and took notes on the people that actually seek them out.  Over the years, I have developed not only a keen eye for things that go bump in the night but an eye to what the actual ghost hunters are doing while they are conducting investigations. As a believer of paranormal phenomenon, I am happy to be able to provide a rational outlook within the field of ghost hunting, minus the bells and whistles. I am not trying to gain fans or popularity within the ghost hunting community, but I am here to shed some light on paranormal teams. I want to explain how they operate and what they are expecting when they arrive at properties that are deemed to be haunted. I am here to educate the general public with my knowledge, but without the harsh cynicism. I will also share some of my team’s investigations, evidence and personal stories with the readers. I will offer personal commentary on paranormal cases and evidence presented from Oklahoma and on television. There are many problems with today’s ghost hunters. As you invite them into your property, I hope that you will at least be aware of some of the antics and activities that take place. I hope to help educate everyone on how to remain skeptical and keep a rational mindset while dealing with moments that are not easily explained at the time. Remember, just because one person or team is unable explain something, does not make it the boogeyman. It’s time to stop entertaining the idea of ghosts, spooks and specters and find the truth. It’s time to review, analyze and stop taking one persons word for it. Just because a person or team has on a nifty “official ghost hunter” t-shirt or a mobile command unit, does not make them paranormal scientists.

There are no experts in the field of paranormal research and I am not claiming to be one. I have learned many things over the years and I am ready to share. Not believing in everything seems to be the most difficult lesson to learn when it comes to today’s ghost hunting fanatics. I feel the public should be educate, since the public is allowing ghost hunters into their properties. You do not need to be a rocket scientist to explore the possibilities of the unknown, but you do need to have common sense and a good eye.

You can email me for anything. Need a photo looked at, an EVP analyzed or maybe an opinion of a video clip that you have captured? I am more than happy to look at it and offer my opinion. If you need an investigation, without the fluff and frills, contact me -  tonya@ghouli.org   or contact me through my website www.ghouli.org

I am looking forward to blogging here on NewsOK.com!

PS- Orbs are not ghosts. They are dust particles illuminated by the flash of your camera. Please refrain from sending me dust particles for review. But, more on that later….
