Weekly ski reports

Good news: More runs and lifts are open, and the snow conditions look pretty decent in the Rockies. Bad news: Been a little dry the last few days, except in Utah. Plenty of time for that to change before the big President’s Day weekend rolls around. Here’s the reports:

I visited Ruidoso, NM and Ski Apache again this Christmas. The two lifts that are out are due to tree damage in a storm. One of them is the gondola up to the lodge on top of Sierra Blanca’s sister peak at 11,500. Quite frankly, I think more curious visitors than skiers use that one.
