Keith from New Hampshire wants to be a volunteer in any new season of “Out of the Wild: The Alsaka Experiment.” Here’s what he had to say:
I watched season 1 and 2 and would like to know if there is going to be a season 3 and how one would be selected, I would like to participate, I am over 50 and would like to show the younger folk the Over 50s could hold there own! unlike the people who copped out early this time around . I am an avid hunter and fisherman who lives in NH who would really like the challenge I also feel I could do a much better job at hunting and fishing than what people are seeing in season 2, Season 1 was quite a bit different as the participants stayed pretty much put to the places they were sent, except for Allan, Jasmine and Tim who traveled up to the hut on Hawkins glacier to visit.
The bottom line is I really look forward to Tuesday night because its Deadliest Catch and Out of the Wild night and I wouldn’t miss a minute of it!
As far as I’ve been able to tell, there has not been anything on the show’s Web site looking for volunteers. Last year, Discovery did have a page where you could send in your information and apply to be one of the volunteers. My guess is that if there’s a third season (we can only hope!) that there will soon be a casting call for volunteers. If you think you’ve got what it takes, give it a shot! I’ll be checking in on that site and looking for information to see if there will be a third season and if/when that casting call might be.
Until then, check out the show tomorrow, 9 p.m. Central, on the Discovery Channel.
