Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook is getting some flack for the fishing shirt he wore to the post-game press conference after Monday night’s blowout win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
Hey, I like the shirt. I have several fishing shirts in my closet although they are not the $115 Lacoste fishing hook print polo shirts. I tend to favor the $18 “Crappie Slayer” style of fashion T-shirts from Bass Pro Shops. After a quick check through my wardrobe, I discovered that the only kind of shirts I have more than fishing shirts are Thunder shirts.
And if Westbrook keeps going off for 27 points, nine assists and seven rebounds like he did Monday night, he can wear an Okie Noodling t-shirt to the press conferences for all I care.
In fact, I have one he can borrow.
