FALL COLOR
Hinton, Oklahoma, Wednesday, 10/26/05. Western Oklahoma plains, with its grasslands and sparse trees, seems to get shortchanged in the fall foliage frenzy, some say. Plant experts talk about how the grass and shrubbery also has unique beauty, with the red Virginia creeper vines that snake up trees. This is against the backdrop of some colorful trees, like in the area around red rock canyon. What we need is a shot that includes some grass or wildflower.
