This white buck was taken by a hunter in Logan Country during the recent deer hunting season. Every year, two or three white or piebald deer are taken by hunters in Oklahoma, state wildlife officials say. There is a pocket of them in Logan County. Hunting such deer is legal in Oklahoma with prior permission of the state wildlife director but a bill currently in the Legislature would prohibit that requirement.
