Trout club meeting postponed
The 89er Chapter of Trout Unlimited has postponed its monthly meeting tonight and moved it until next Tuesday due to the impending snowstorm.
Fly fisherman Davy Wotton, who was scheduled to appear tonight, now will speak at the Feb. 15 meeting.
Wotton is a world recognized author, instructor, and fly tier with fly fishing experience in 40 countries around the globe.
He is a regular on the Versus Networks Fly Fish T.V. and has produced and is featured in series of fly fishing videos such as; Wet Fly Ways, Wet Fly Tying, White River with Davy Wotton and Wotton’s Top Ties.
He currently owns and operates The American International Schools of Fly Fishing in Mountain Home, Ark.
The Feb. 15th meeting begins at 6 p.m. and the public is invited. Wotton will be discussing fly fishing the famous Arkansas White River System.
The chapter meeting will be held at the Sportsman Country Club, 4001 Northwest 39th Street in Oklahoma City
