No one seems to be doubting the truthfulness of the pictures, and that's a good thing, but if there are any sceptics, I, too, am a witness to this event. I was with Hogan when he put the cameras out and the day we found the pics. We were on an evening deer hunt and, naturally, didn't want to make any more disturbance than needed. So we waited until after dark to collect the cards from the four cameras that were out. It had been a week since we set the cameras up. On the drive home, I put the cards in my card reader and, unsurprisingly, saw several pics of deer and hogs over and over. Then came the blurry pic of the attack. I wasn't sure what it was until I saw the next pic. We were just pulling into the gas station when I showed it to Hogan. He freaked out!! We were both a little shook up after that. He had walked in the dark to that exact spot with nothing but a bow...several times! And I had too! Anyway, I say all that to testify to the pics. They are real. I also saw the remains of a similarly colored pig not far from that area when Hogan pointed it out to me-most likely the pig from the pic. I'm just glad so many people are getting to enjoy these pics!

Not always is it the persons fault for not setting the camera right......I have used the same camera for several years. But forgot to change the internal battery, so if the batteries that power the camera run out it loses its memory. And I didnt catch it until I got my card out of it the next time.....just seems really strange ALL the pictures that are surfacing in the last month. We have heard people say they have seen BigCats on or around our property and I have had camers out for 3 years on creek crossings and natural funnels and draws, canyons every where you think something like this would cross or venture. We have got bobcats, coyotes and deer all the time on our cameras...I think the BigCats have such keen scent;they smell that you were present and wont re-enter that area, and are smarter than deer. Cats are hunters and have that ability to be very aware of their surroundings...and dont get caught without a way to escape or be hidden....at least that's my personal feelings!!

I have 160 acres near Gailey Ok. A few weeks ago, a neighbor saw a lion in broad daylight cross his pond dam and then enter my property. He said it was the first lion he had seen in 25 years of ranching the property. There are game cameras on my property also and I hope to catch a picture of a lion. I also have hogs, so this could be a good thing. I am concerned about my children when on the property .
