Big New Mexico bull elk
George Moore of Edmond passed along this photo of a big bull elk that he killed with a bow in New Mexico.
The elk, his largest, scored 444 6/8.

Massive elk I would like to know the weight.I dissagre with Paul it just shows how big these animals can get!
That guy is sitting well behind the elk, I agree with paul, that’s silly. I’m sure it’s a guide thing, for the website and lodge wall. I’d want to be up with elk so you could see my proud face and huge smile.

Im Sure the Fence around this was the same ones you see driving down the highway standard 3ft tall barbed wire, that munster was where nobody thought to look except for homeboy who knocked him down that what gotta love NUEVO…

Its called trick photography and any good outfitter does it. I agree with paul this guy didnt need to do it. I would want my face to be recognizable with that monster.
Big, Big does not matter where you sit. Just shows how jealous some hunters are. That bull is as big as it gets. Most people wouldn’t even know it though . I don’t think there are that many high fences here so congratulations. Rick
Thats a nice elk, but why the goofy pose? Why try to create an illusion of a mega elk? This is as bad or worse than the guys who hold their fish at arms length trying to make them appear much larger than they are. Thats nice elk, he didn’t need to sit ten feet behind it in the picture.
