Oh and I completely agree that if you don't have a lifetime license and you hunt and/or fish in Oklahoma, you need one it's a great idea. I got mine 35 years ago as a Christmas present from my folks and it has proven to be the great gift I've ever recieved. My son was 2 months old when he got his for Christmas, my daughter was 3 months old. If you have an outdoorsman on your Christmas list, think about it!

Oklahoma is complicated for sure, but other states can be just as complicated. My fear is the license(s) will go up for the poor guy that just quail hunts, or duck hunts but the guys that deer hunt will save a lot of money every year. If you roll all the licenses into one, you could actually lose some of the people that I know that only hunt quail and doves. With bird population like they are, not sure a $75 license is worth it, while the deer hunters are getting a bargain!!!

Several years ago I went to Montana hunting pronghorn. My license was one of the combined license where I had all the tags I needed for one price, however I only was there to hunt pronghorn. I had an elk tag and 3 deer tags that I theoretically paid for, but had no use for.

Geez this isn't that complicated! Leave it to our infamous state legislators to figure out something that no one wants or needs. If you own a lifetime hunting/fishing license, and you should before they do away with them, you really don't have much to do. If you can't figure it out them maybe you aren't smart enough to hunt or fish, at least not with me......:-}
