Good crappie day on Eufaula
Dalvin Sukenis of Lexington, quite a crappie fisherman, sent along a recent report from Lake Eufaula. He and his grandson, Zak (pictured above) were fishing in the Gaines Creek area and caught 96 keepers in three days. “The largest was 1 1-2 pounds, but all were big enough to filet,” Dalvin said. “All were caught doodle-socking with 2 inch grubs and Crappie Nibbles around stumps, logs and brush piles.”
