Your talking about a man who has been away from his family and freinds for years. Who could judge him for wanting to be close t them again? Jay is an honorable, classy, loyal man. I know this first hand. God bless you and your family Jay. The sooners got a first rate coach.

OKC is Boulware’s home! This is not so difficult to comprehend, and was probably the first time he had an opportunity to return and coach for the Sooners.

How much does a coach like Anderson worry about a “family atmosphere” when he fires a coach? These guys have to look out for their own careers. Staying one place a long time is the exception,not the rule…..

Another guy that does not let the dust settle around him. Who knows how long he will last and what contribution he will make. It does not look like it will be a stellar year for the Sooners but who knows. It the Sooners do well he most likely will stay….if not Bob Stoops will get his axe out for more Coaches to fall.

Wisconsin or Oklahoma? That was easy….Coming from Utah St., Wisconsin probably seemed like the top of the world. Wisconsin is a respectable program, but, Oklahoma, it is not.

If coach Andersen wants to build a family atmosphere, he should have stayed in Mormon land. Their are no “family teams” outside Utah. Only mission these players go on is to the draft to collect money.

Jay is one that moves around and Oklahoma is his home state. However, Coach Anderson has reason to be upset. I just hope he’s a little more faithful for the Sooners.
