As an OSU alum, I hope we don’t become like so many Sooner fans as we continue to experience success. Perhaps the posters here don’t represent most Sooner fans.

disgusted – You apparently haven’t read too much of her work this last year. “As an OU fan with close ties to the program”, I’d just prefer that NewsOK employ an OU beat writer that at the very least comes off as if they are interested in the program they cover. Stephanie’s work comes off as something she put out there just to collect a paycheck.

Please try and find it in your heart to understand and forgive your fellow Sooner fans if they’d prefer a beat writer that at least cares a little bit about the program they are covering. Someone that doesn’t find it necessary to take subtle shots at it on a consistent basis.

FTR – I’ve never knocked her writing ability, or attacked her personally. I just feel she’s “misplaced” at NewsOK.

To be fair disgustedindividual, Landy started all but 2 games in 4 years. He should have demolished records considering the other QB’s on those lists under Stoops started only 2 seasons at best.

As an OU fan with close ties to the program… you people disgust me, and this is not directed at the author of this blog, but the commenters… she is providing information, looking for an opinion of what you all think of this atrocity of thinking LJ is not top draft worthy…. Then again you all are probably the same “fans” who yell about how you know more about Stoops and the coaching staff about how to coach a ball game… and think that because you were all conference at a class b school in 1973 you can throw better than landry… and think he is a terrible quarterback, even after demolishing records. smh….

It’s really not Stephanie’s fault gang, she’s basically an intern still in the learning stage. This is the type of “article” that should have been stopped at the editor’s desk. Clearly the person at NewsOK responsible for what gets put out there is sleeping on the job.
