Kelley leaving means Stoops stands a chance to beat Oregon. If Sabin would leave he would have a better chance to beat Ala. If Miles left LSU and Peterson left Boise State he would be moving up. But then there’s Urban and the Buckeye’s standing in his way. $5 mill. and still trying to earn back a spot in the elite 10.

OSU has need of a good running back with Randle leaving. We have only one running back committed so far. A good running back could become another feature back pretty quick. I would think that a recruit would look very closely at OSU…Dontre Wilson could wind up a Cowboy.

The questions Oregon recruits need to be asking is did Kelly’s departure have anything to do with looming sanctions from the NCAA and his desire to avoid having to answer questions before the NCAA enforcement committee? Is Oregon is going to be sanctioned like Ohio State and lose out on going to a conference championship and bowl game or like USC and be stripped of scholarships and therfore the ability to compete at a high level? The winners may be teams like USC, UCLA, and Stanford for the recruits, but I doubt OU or OSU will pick up anyone from Kelly leaving.
