That said, Georgia was screwed more than OU..7 yards from the NCS game when time ran out, beat FL head to head in Jacksonville and got left out…NIU is an unintended consequence when the univ’s and their athletic directors try to please everyone (and avoice Congressional investigation and anti-trust)…it is also a joke which in reality screws the fans out of a decent pairing. OU-TA&M in the Cotton Bowl will be the second most anticipated game after the NCS…best match-up, great players and especially great QBs..and possibly the Heisman winner…hope OU takes this seriously because a victory would leave them in the top ten and possibly in the top five…BOOMER SOONER

A match up with Georgia, LSU, or even South Carolina would have been better.

It would have been a nice measuring stick against a real SEC opponent, not a team that couldn’t hack it in the Big XII. We already play in Dallas so this doesn’t help recruiting.
