Gallleo... Sorry, but '05 was not a fluke. It would've been a fluke if the officials swayed the outcome of the game. It would've been a fluke if some crazy bounce-of-the-ball changed the outcome of the game. Yes, OU was down that year, and was overrated to start the year. However, they still had the best RB in the country, and his ankle being an issue was a plus for TCU. Injuries, down years, etc. happen in football. That doesn't make it a fluke though. That word is used as a losers limp and a crutch for failure, and any self-respecting and knowledgable football fan would be wise to disband them from their vocabulary. The SMU game the following week which we lost was not a fluke... we came into that game on a high horse and got out butts whipped. It happens.

All that said, I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Should be a fun game.

Stevenson is wrong about one thing: TCU beating OU in Norman in 2005 absolutely was a fluke. 2005 was Stoops' worst team other than his inaugural 1999 team. The 2005 Sooners went 8-4 and catching them on their schedule that season was pure luck -- an abberation. Now if TCU beats this team with this crummy defense it will not be a fluke.
