did i hear correctly today is mike going to be on bro mark stoops staff at kentucky? Addionally, if k-state beats texas how are the sooners going to leap frog over higher ranked teams to get to the sugar bowl and why is it the sooners 2013 recuiting class is rated 31st in rivals ratings, who is our recruiting coordinator and why is him/her letting texas/ mac brown clobber in texas recruiting does anyone maybe we should get a new coordinator duh1 WE HAVE BEEN GOING DOWN HILL IN THIS AREA FOR YEARS! maybe we should look at a new offensive coordinator as well.

Nick…what a reidiculous comment….The Stoops brothers do NOT like to play each other’s teams…so why would they make it more likely. And to what advantage would Tenn. be over the Sooners…if Bob were to have gone..Notre Dame would have been a much better choice. Now let’s get on with beating TCU and getting at least a share of the B-12 title and a great BCS bowl bid….Boomer Sooner

I hope it works out for him. This could be a bad career move. Why not work as a defensive coordinator at a major program and do well until the right job comes along. One that gives you the opportunity to succeed. Look at the current Florida coach. He waited at Texas until one of the top jobs in the country wanted him. Kentucky could be a death sentence as a head coach. A bottom feeder of a program in the toughest conference in the country. They will fight with Missouri and Mississippi and Tennessee to win one or two conference games each year. The best they can hope for is to have a great season every 6 or 7 years and win 6 games and be bowl eligible.

Kentucky is kind of an oddity in that they have awesome facilities, a beautiful big stadium, great folks, but the teams have been horrific as far as I can remember.
