I am more concerned with the ability of the team to focus on the TCU game with headlines about switching bowls etc. as if the Sooners had already won. Many college players either consciously or subconsciously let these kind of write ups affect their preparation and concentration. TCU is an excellent football team and it will be in their "house"...a "trip" game if ever there were one. Here's hoping the Senior Leadership can step up and keep the team focused and ready for Sat. In effect, it is the Big 12 Playoff/Championship game...just not labeled as such. Boomer Sooner..Beat TCU

Look at the last 3 weeks and see how many teams in the country has played the schedule OU has, facing 3 of the countries high powered offenses. Its hard on any team to stop a running attack, either by the QB or RB, when the OC sends out 4 wideouts and cotinues to spread you out. Don't know what football you guys are watching but it would be a headache and has been to many DCs to have to gameplan against it. I personally dont think they are or will be drained, OU has too much depth and experience for that.

Early in the year, OU defense was getting accolades along with Mike Stoops. Then Mike went one dimensional with the defense which is worse then going one dimensional with an offense. Unlike last year, the offense hasn´t lost key players the last minute. Landry is in synch. We should go back to the early part of the year defense and wind up with a 35-20 victory. I doubt K-State has any problem with Texas which still give OU a probable Sugar Bowl and a Florida matchup---better then Oregon. Along these lines, do a film study and show the defense how to bump receivers as they leave the line. It will help.

Tend to agree to a point. Our D is giving up nearly 40/game over the last 5 games; and only one ranked team in there. I'm still in disbelief.

Generally the defense has played like they have been drained since about the 4th practice of the fall. Since OU has won the last several games without a defense that shouldn't worry OU fans. OU has enough receivers that shuttle in and out that being drained shouldn't be a problem. Maybe the OU defense should just stay in bed and rest on Saturday. Nobody would notice the difference anyway. So much for the great Mike Stoops bringing greatness to the OU defense. A failed head coach usually doesn't make a great coordinator.
