Are you kidding? Anyone that comes out there for a pass needs to have "Sooners" tatooed across their chin. If you don't want to get hit, you're playing the wrong game. Go home.

I understand the intent of the calls, but it only appears that flags are thrown when the pass is incomplete... Is it still targeting if the hard hit comes on a complete pass? If the guy catches the ball, is it still a penalty? Seems as if the officials are giving the wrs an excuse when they drop a high pass.

No one likes a dirty player. I know it becomes instinctive to hit the guy but try to be a little more cerebral and think not just about what it could do to the other player possibly maiming him for life....and on how the penalty will hurt you own defense.
