I am an 80 year old Oklahoma Unversity Graduate. I agree whole heartedly with Bob Stoops. Let the football players be their own men off the field, and OU football players on the field. I know the being “cool” is important to the younger generation so just let them be themselves.

This is another area that separates Bud from Bob. Bud wanted his players to look the part. They were representing the University of Oklahoma both on and off the field and when they traveled. His was a mentor of positive and successful young men. Buds players and teams always got respect. Now on Saturday in Norman on Owen field it looks like the circus is in town. That Liberal attitude has crossed over into his coaching career.
