How does Landry rate “star of the game” status? Have our standards lowered that much? Sure he ended up with nice numbers, but it was Iowa State. Did anyone else see shades of Nebraska ’09 on those back to back pics? Oh, and the slide? What was that all about? I’ve supported Landry his entire time here, and wish him well at the next level, but am more than ready to move on.

Believe the phrase “he lied” is out of place in this article. While I know that was said on Monday, at his press conference, he also was the one watching Dom and Brennan all week. Giving my “druthers”, I’d rather him “lie” and use the back that practiced the best, than feel obligated to honor a pre-week practice comment.

Nice win for the Sooners. My concern is with the number of yards given up by OU on penalties. At least twice, ISU was bailed out of a punt situation by Sooner miscues. We can’t do that against more skilled teams. Also, what’s the deal with these “hiking the ball” problems? Ikard has always been so solid.
