I’m not a fan of either team. The commentary here is hilarious. I don’t know what some of you were watching, but that was clearly an interception by Teo. As Billy Parks said in this string. “They were also on the wrong side of a butt kicking in the trenches.” Especially in the 4th qtr. By the way, Kenny Stills is a punk. What an idiot. Classless.

I’ll take Bob Stoops over any other coach in football. He has consistently delivered top quality product. No team is going to win every game every year. There have been positive games, and games not as such. To suggest that Bob needs to be replaced is the STUPIDEST statement that I’ve heard.

As for blaming the refs in the loss, Bob is quoted as such:

“Compliments to Notre Dame, who really played an excellent football game to win it,” Stoops said. “And in the end made some key plays toward the end of the game to win. They only had one penalty and no turnovers. They played it well in being able to do things right that way.”

He didn’t blame the loss on officiating. However, there were suspect calls. The holding call was called late. That is the issue. It was holding, should have been called. However, on the interception, the ball clearly hit the ground….no interception. Wrong call. Didn’t cause us to lose the game though.

My suggestion, quit over-reacting, and shooting your mouth off. Be a fan, support your team.

OU didn’t lose because they couldn’t run the ball. In fact, they tried to run the ball way too much, when Notre Dame was allowing the short passes all night long. The pass interference on Teo’s interception was obvious….i knew when I saw that the officiating crew was from the Big East that OU wouldn’t get a call all night and they didn’t. All of that combined with our inability to get Notre Dame off the field led to the loss.

Don, have you noticed different times this year runners for the opposing team have had the best game of their career against OU? And you know who the new LB coach is, right? The head defensive coordinator the last few years under Mike who was giving up close to 40 points a game last year. I had no idea of what to expect this year. And in the two games we lost this year, the defense played solid for three quarters but have not been able to get the other team off the field in the 4th quarter.
