Typical comment from a non-typical ND fan who does not have the class to respect what was a very good, tough fought game between two very good teams. Shame that the refs did have an impact on this game, but not as much as they did in NDs previous game. Irish D was the real difference in this game and of course a little bit of the Luck of the Irish. They are due some after 20 years or so of bad luck....! Good luck ND in your remaining games...Boomer Sooner..!

The Sooners just got whipped. Outcoached and beaten in the trenches for starters. Notre Dame was better in nearly every phase of the game.

OU's offensive game-plan seemed to have been designed to beat some other team, not Notre Dame. OU was supposed to have a speed advantage, but seldom tried to run outside and took very few shots over the top. Instead, it became a battle in the trenches, and everybody already knew that Notre Dame was better there. Notre Dame ended up being the team that connected on a long pass.

OU was beaten in the kickoff game. I think ND kicked the ball into the end zone every time, and when OU tried to run it out, it was always a mistake. OU kicked short a lot, and Notre Dame always got it back outside the 25 when that happened. Notre Dame won the turnover battle 1-0, and won the battle of the 4th quarter 20-7.

For the Sooners, that's a formula for defeat.
