Notre Dame is mostly hype. They truly suck from the standpoint that they consistenly play a soft schedule. This year they caught Michigan in an off year. OU is and will be the best team they face this year.

OU offense has been humming well the last few games. Running is not a big deal cause OU can pass quite well...IF...the offensive line can protect Landry and he is not pressured. Landry sucks under pressure and everyone knows that. So, I am sure he will be dumping off the ball on short routes.

Defensively, the Sooner front has improved and with McFarland back the lineman will get the breathers it needs. Notre Dame may make some yardage on the ground but I doubt can drive the ball down field that way and in the air they are not a very good passing team vs. one of the best secondary's in the Nation.

All of the above points to a rout by OU over Notre Dame. I expect,,Expect...the Sooners to put a beat down on the Irish. And, Stoops SHOULD pile on the points to shut up the Notre Dame national following not just to raise the Sooner National stature and rankings but also for the whole Big 12 which is possibly the toughest conference in the Nation.

I will be extremely dissappointed if OU lose...really dissappointed. They will have flushed away a great opportunity and any hopes of BCS. A close game will not cut it either...ND will simply justify themselves as being one of the top elite teams....and their over rated status. It is all up to the Stoops brothers and Landry...don't screw it up.
