I don't want to rain on everyone's parade and dreams of a national championship but there are a lot of games left to play against some very good teams starting Saturday. I was on the team when Notre Dame made its last visit to Norman. We were undefeated and ranked 10th. The Irish showed up and beat us 38-0. Coach MacKenzie said after the game it was not far from the castle to the outhouse. I hope the players are not reading all the press clippings about how good they have been the last three games and not be focused for the game. Notre Dame is treating this game, at least according to the papers, as just another game. Well to me it isn't just another game as I was also at the 1957 game with my father. But to the players they need to just do their jobs the best they can and I think OU wins. No turnovers, no missed assignments and penalties.
