I hate that he’s going through this. I’m not a big Sooner fan, but have had several encounters with him through several charities. Always willing to go above and beyond, and seemed like truly had a good time doing it! I was very impressed.

Stories like this are why cops get called names. He peed outside. Who cares? He threatened an officer? He wasn’t charged with carrying a weapon, how big a threat could it have been? This happened because its Tommie Harris. These cops could have written him a ticket, put his butt in a cab and been done with it. Instead, they made headlines. I would think stopping murder and violence on the streets of Chicago might be a better activity for these jokers.

It’s crazy how fast things can change in pro sports. Harris was a dominant DT in his first few seasons. Obviously he has gone through alot in his personal life, but he would not have been the one I would’ve guessed would be out of the league in only 6-7 years. Hopefully he gets it together, it can’t be easy losing a spouse suddenly at such a young age.

Another case of “Barny Fife.” Unless he was urinating in the middle of the street the officer should have warned him and sent him on his way.I have seen this before. The officer is going to show everyone who is in charge. That is probably where the assalt charge comes in. Since he had to urinate he gets an indecent exposure charge. Now we are going to waste tax dollars in court. You could call it pissing tax dollars away.Write him a citation or do like police did when I grew up, tell him to go home and try to get to a restroom. At midnight sometimes you just have to go and most places with restrooms are closed. Who did we “Serve and Protect,” in this case.
