The Sooners need to focus on just playing football with passion. There is simply way too much talk about everything, including how great the team or players are in the absence of actual production.

The OU football team should take a lesson from the K-State playbook, which is to just play the game, do the little things like block and tackle, and play with heart! All without anywhere near the “blue chippers” that OU signs.

Quit making excuses, and play the game!

Josh Heupel I read where you said, “the offense has to find it identity. Excuse me, Josh you are the face of the offense and if you can’t figure out what your identity is go join the scrub refs on sunday’s for a bottle of beer. Is Oklahoma a power run team is Okla a throw first and second and third downs. Josh you need to figure out the identity for these offensive woes, not the 18 19 and 20 year olds. They can only play as good as their OC.

This 2012 recruiting season was mostly focused on offensive players. How many WR can you use in one season. I guess Josh Heupel is a one speed kind of guy. I thought there would never be the day,that I would be wishing for Kevin Wilson to come back. Josh H. you have no creativity and you show no signs of wanting to get better. If we lose, Texas, Notre Dame, West Virginia, and Okla St. let’s see how loyal Stoops will be to those underachievers Yes Josh H. (offensive Coordinator)I’m talking about you. Your game plan suckkkkkkk!!!!! you will never ever be mentioned with Nick Saban or Les Miles’ OC’s.

OU has to recruit quality Offensive and Defensive lineman. That’s where the game is won and that’s where we lack players with the capability to give us a significant advantage. The DT’s were getting pushed all around against K State.

I wish we would line up in the I or Power I formation and RUN THE FOOTBALL! And run it until it is stopped and then go to the passing game. We have fallen in love with the “extended hand off” play. We have some quality running backs that are not being utilized. Just a thought. Still plenty of time to get things corrected and get on a run. BOOMER SOONERS!!!!

If you have to lose, this was the game to do so.

It’s early, polls have short term memory, and we play at least 5 ranked teams before season’s end.

If OU is the only loss for UT, WVU, etc., I’d think we would still have a shot at a major bowl or even the title game against Alabama (yeah, I doubt that team will lose)

And, if we go 6-5, that’s bad but not the end of the world.

Support the kids regardless, and lighten up!

After the loss what we know for sure; OU has a QB thats a head case.
The players ran around all last week telling the press, “we prepared for KS like it was the championship game”.
They have no bell cows on the offense of defense.
They are mistake prone and still get whipped in the fourth quarter.
The coach is denying any problem and isn’t making any adjustments
The quarterback still can’t run with the football.
There was no improvement from UTEP till now.
etc. etc.
