UTEP is better than advertised. The OU team on the field Sat. night would have compared well to some of the teams they will beat in their conference. They will beat NMSt, So. Miss., UH – 2 of those on the road…ECU, UCF, and Tulsa are on the road and will be tougher because of that…but those teams won’t pose any bigger challenge for the Miners than OU did if they stay healthy. Playing OU will pay big benefits for UTEP. Not so much OU…KSU could beat any of those teams…
