Barry on the Boz and company’s shoulders being carried off the field in the ’85 Orange Bowl is the lasting memory I

Switzer was a great football coach. Jones gave him the shaft in Dallas, although he won a Super Bowl, because Jones couldn’t control him. Switzer is no one’s puppet, certainly not Jones. Has Dallas won anything since Switzer left? I don’t think so. Switzer came from a tough background, and made it big time! More power to him! He certainly got less support than he deserved, at the time, from the OU administration when the NCAA sanctions were applied. Switzer’s “crime” was that he paid for a ticket for one of his players (who had no money) to his grandmother’s funeral. Give me more coaches, and people like this. This should be, and used to be the American way!!
