This game and especially the A&M 77-0 route is when I began thinking this team was unstoppable. I was shocked the way this team finished the season in 03′. Losing Mike Stoops proved to be the end our dominance. The University of Oklahoma football was “The team to beat” at that point and was considered by many to be the best team of all time. After losing to KSU & LSU, then USC blowout the next season, we became less and less dominant from a national perspective. Ya, we won some Big 12 titles since then, but nationally we haven’t been looked at as a dominant program, since then. I’m hoping that the return of Mike Stoops will bring about that luster, swagger, and national image that we had back then.

As an Oklahoma State fan, I’ve never wanted to wrap my hands around a coach’s throat & choke the breath out of him…. until Les Miles uttered those idiotic words before the ’03 Bedlam game. What a jerk. Way to piss off the best team in the country, ROYALLY. Nice work Les. It was a great win for Stoops, and made me want to see Les Miles point his wagon in a different direction & GET GONE.

Yep I clearly remember that game. My bet with a co-worker was that the loser had to wear our rival’s colors for one week to work. Orange just isn’t my color of choice. So yes I was relieved. I remember Texa$$ got bumped out of the BCS because OU lost to K State in the Big 12 CG. Texa$$ promptly lost to Wash. State in the Holiday Bowl Whaaaaaa. The biggest caveat was shutting up Miles. That guy screwed OSU and he was the biggest reason why many people wanted OSU to lose no matter who they played. Oh and I had to wear orange for a week after Bedlam in 2011. I survived

This was a great win, but probably overrated on this list.

Has 77-0 come up on the list yet? That 2003 team did give us some great blowouts. But it also started the “Sooner choke” trend.

I disagree with this game being ranked so high on the list. This game cannot be ranked ahead of the 2000 KSU 41-31 game or the 2000 Texas A&M Torrance Marshall game.
