Every conference game they play will be like a non-conference game wherby they have no history of the opposing teams, how they match up to them. Each road game will be a new environment for them to adapt to. Conversely, the other 9 teams in the conference only have one new team to adapt to. It will be a big disadvantage the first year. Much like Nebraska in their first Big Ten season last year, expect West Virginia to drop at least a game or 2 they should have won for this reason alone. I’m not saying West Virginia won’t be a worthy team, but I think it’s too much to ask of a team to play 9 new teams and do so well.
