Dom Whaley, Jaz Reynolds, Trey Metoyer, Trey Millard, Blake Bell, all athletic with star qualities. Many others on offense that are capable as impact players. Don’t underestimate King, Washington, Wort, and Jefferson on defense. The cuppard isn’t bare. We have more than enough talent to win a lot of games.

I just don’t see any superstars, any difference makers. On defense the LB’s may be tough but there is no NFL talent there. No difference makers on the D-line either. Tony Jefferson may be the lone standout on defense.

On offense I agree that the offensive line is much improved over a few years ago when we had TE’s moved to guard or whatever. But still the O-line does not begin to compare to that 2007-08 era team. Offensive skill players? Not so much. I just don’t see any real impact players in the same mold as Heupel, Quentin, Clayton, Jason White, AD, Gresham, Bradford, Demarco Murray, Broyles, etc. Metoyer may have bigtime potential but it’s conjecture at this point.

I disagree with houston. There are some big time studs on that team and some that will have great breakout years. I would like to see the LBs tried with Wort at SLB, Byrd at MLB and Nelson at WLB. That would be a tough as nails core there in the middle of the defense but it would require Wort to learn a new position.

I would have to agree with Houston…this is one of the least talented group of players Bob has had since at OU. Landry is about the only real name on the team and frankly he has never shown me any star raves. The offensive line looks to be better. Unsure how the receivers will turn out with Broyles gone. Defensively, there are no outstanding players…Mike has his work cut out for him there.

I would rather see Wort at Will and start Bird at Mike. Ibiloye is just not good enough against the run, IMO.
