You have been great…always enjoyed the opportunity you gave readers to vent, prophesize, celebrate, and for some unfortunately to trash talk. We readers/wannabe bloggers have not always had the opportunity to interact with sport writers the way you have let us. We are really harmless. Too bad other writers do not give the frequent opportunities like you did.

Knock ‘em out at ESPN. And though you were not born a Sooner, there is a part of you that will always be one wherever you go. We are hard to wash out…there is something very special about the state of Oklahoma…it doesn’t take long to see it. Though I live in Texas, I always feel a sense of renewal every time I return to Oklahoma. It has a way of restoring belief in our nation in the human race. My family calls it God’s country. May God be with you and BOOMER SOONER!
