To what OU fans are you referring too mr. Haney ? I don’t give a damn who they sign for 2013 – i am sure they will find the allotted 25.

Don’t include me with those “fans” who expect to go 14 – 0 every year. It isn’t realistic , just like most of this newspapers reporters.

113 overall prospect? Well I guess thats a start.Coachs need to add those plays to the offense to give the defense a look at what those sets were that picked us apart last year.Defensively what ever happened to the 5-2-4,on first downs it might stop the run,and we could shift out of it at the last min.I want a National Championship this year with Bobs recruits. I don’t have that long to live and neither does Barry Switzer,Bobs had 11years, the time is now! Bob needs to roll up his sleeves and join his Brother in those defensive meetings to tweak that defense.

Totally agree, Brock…If I remember correctly, Mike was on the sidelines at the TT game…wasn’t he? I was at that game with all of the weather drama, and my memory is “clouded.”. My bet is that by the TAMU game, rumors were swirling on the coaching staff. Hope the divisions have healed and the drama is gone…if not next season could be painful.

Willie summed up what we have been going through since Bob changed his vision of what an offense should build it’s foundation upon. The game is won or lost in the trenches. Teams that have their offense on the field more than the defense win early and late in the season. Recruiting primarily receiver and receiver type backs creates an unbalanced team that lacks depth. Bob has tunnel vision. If he expects his defense to be on the field most of the game then he needs to recruit the best defensive players coming out of high school instead of JUCO athletes that we will only have for a couple of years. Tim the drama elevated when Mike was let go. It not only had coaches looking over their shoulders for the coming changes but it also caused division. Players realized that the focus was not on the rest of this season as far as the coaching staff was concerned but where they might be next year.

Willie got it. The record wasn’t bad….that was the point…what was bad was all of the drama that inundated the program beginning with a WIN against Missouri. Again, don’t mean to beat a dead horse, but Stoops didn’t help the matter by talking NC before we ever kicked off.

Give the coaches and the players credit for salvaging a 10 win season, no small feat. However, it the drama and the poor play doesn’t get cleaned up, OU will be lucky to win 10 again this year.

Long time till Feb. 2013. It’s not the record thats bad, it’s the way you get beat, how you get beat(taken to the wood shed) that is the focus. OU, since ’02, has to be the most over rated, computer boosted school in the ratings. Both by local media and national. Some scoff at TCU, but they have done more with less, since beating OU in ’05. They will be a force in the Big 12, like WV. Who knows, they may be another team OU lose’s to on a regular basis, like T.T.
