The Big 12 champ could have 2 losses in 2012. There could be a web of 2 loss teams making it necessary to go to tie breaker scenarios. The league will be more competitive. OU an UT are still the standard in the conference, but WV, TCU, and KSU will all be in the hunt, too many slips will put OSU and BU will slip into contention. UT will be much improved. They still have a QB issue and just how good they will be is worth a look during spring ball. They will have a defense. Look for their secondary to be much better. 5-7 to 7-5 to 10-2. In 2012. As much as I hate to say it…Mack is back in 2012. Texas will play with an attitude. Look for OU to finally show some consistent focus from first quarter through the 4th quarter. However, OU hasn’t been a closer. To be in the big 12 championship hunt and the NC hunt, OU will have to close the deal in November. Something they have not done in several years. The best teams paly the best ball in November. That is the hurdle OU must overcome with a difficult November schedule. 2012 will be a nail biting year.

I predict another mediocre year for OU. They will get a boost from the new LB coach,but offensively they’re stuck with a QB with happy feet and NFL aspirations. 10 and 3, how we love ye.

Wouldn’t it have been nice to see a 6’2″-250lb. running back in the OU backfield carrying the ball at a 4.6 second 40 time with power to burn? Rich ole’ Bob, can’t see the forest for the tree’s.

I’m going to do some early presuming myself.. Ronnell’s Wonderlic will be about the same as his 40 time. So we’ll see.
