Yes not only do the Rattlers have a future NFL QB, and a running back that runs a 4.3. But they also have WR Tj Lawrence who transferred from UF that sat out last season. For a FCS school their offensive line is pretty large. Avg 6-4 270 LBS.

Don’t sleep on the Rattlers. They reside in talent rich Florida.
Their Sophmore QB Damien Flemming will play on Sundays in the NFL. He is being coached by for NFL QB Quinn Gray. He will play behind a huge offensive line. We will also put a fleet footed running back that was academically ineligible last year on the field that runs a 4.2 40 yard dash and a big back that transferred back to his home state from Illinois.
I expect the Sooners to wear the Rattlers down and win convincingly but the Rattlers will play like a mid major D1 program.
Word is the Rattlers have a 6’10″ defensive end that signed from Junior College. The defense is coached by former NFL LB Earl Holmes.
Be careful, a loss to the Rattlers will mean no National Championship.

WV is a welcome addition to the Big Whatever. Gotta paly’em no matter where. If you can’t beat ‘em on the road…no NC for you!! Let Mack whine…I just don’t think itmosmrightnto the fans or the businesses in Norman or the players that we have to paly 3 straight away games at the end of the season….REALLY!

With all the uncertainty because of conference realignment this is probably the best OU can come up with. What bothers me is two open dates in Sep. OU could have really used moving one of the late Oct games to Sep and have a mid season open date. You can also see who the TV execs view as the favorites to win the Big XII. That would be WVU and OU. That is why that game is a Nov game and not a Sep game. Also, I think there will be two more teams added to the Big XII next year and a championship game added. By doing that UT can put off playing in Morgantown until 2016. They wouldn’t be on UTs schedule again with a 12 team conference until 2015 and I am sure UT would have the Big XII make that one in Austin. That way they wouldn’t have to play in West Virginia until 2016. I am also sure UT would make sure OU played WVU in 2013 and 2014.

REally? The best OU and OSU can do is two MEAC teams? We don’t have to play major schools with the conference and ND, but how about atleast D1?

FAMU….dang….we haven’t had such a blah game in quite a while. It will definitely be PPV. UTEP then FAMU….wish it were the other way around if we play those 2 teams. Too bad FSU wouldn’t come to Norman for a return match…though it is highly doubtful Bob would want that match-up. One thing is certain….KSU WILL be a test. Cupcakes won’t get us ready for what is coming in October and November. OU doesn’t have a great reputation for strong finishes in November. They are the exception more than the rule… How many undefeated Novembers has Stoops enjoyed at OU?
