Joe, I feel your pain. I’m the best man in a wedding on October 13 and OU Texas is somewhat of a reunion weekend for my family and I…Of all people, my best friend and QB on our team. How does a football guy even set a wedding date in the season? Dumb planning.

Joe, What were you thinking? OU-Texas was always traditionally the second Saturday in October (which is the 13th), and OU and Texas have always tried to keep it to that tradition. They have only had to fluctuate that sometimes to the first Saturday in October because of BigXII scheduling. Safe play is to always keep both first and second Sat of October open. I say re-schedule the wedding… the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. -Richard

If the OU/Texas game gets moved to the 13th I’m taking to the streets. Set a wedding that weekend in a direct effort to miss the OU/Texas game.
