A lot of people got what they had wished for. We will see if they were right. I think Brent let his ego rule his decision. How can going to a not top notch program in a second rate conference be better than sharing duties at probably the best program in one of the two best conferences in the country? I just hope that Bob can hire some young top notch people to replace the ones that have gone on to other ventures.

Looks like there is some really solid talent to draw from. But chemistry is as important as Xs and Os. Kids pick up quick on any dissention within the ranks..I don’t know, but Stoops may have had a little of that problem to deal with this year. Change can reinvigorate or divide. Pick smart, Bob…

I agree Steve!! Hope we can adjust and fill all the holes created. My concern is how many possible in coming freshman will change their minds and choose to go elsewhere?? With this many changes on the defensive staff what will be short term effect and more importantly the long term road it will take us down? Long term it will depend who Bob can hire. I was excited to see Mike return and work with BV but I have not forgotten the times Mike lost control and reacted before thinking . Brent was always there to compensate for that. Many on the Arizona staff and in head athletic department saw this first hand and felt it had a huge negative impact on the whole program. Always have been a big supporter of Mike Stoops even after he left I just hope we can get the right personnel to surround him and work with.
