Chemistry has to be right. Some of the problem is weak senior leadership that would tone down that youthful cockiness. Broyles' voice was lost once he got hurt. We desperately needed that. Jones isn't a vocal leader. Travis Lewis I'd not always provide strong leadership on defense either. Too much mouth at times and not enough inspiration (like Tebow) and example.

Hopefully next year's seniors and or juniors will be better at leadership. Insuggest they read up on what leadership is instead of acting like they already know what it is.

Looks like Bob is having trouble getting players committed, staying committed, staying enrolled, their choice or not. Guess the party is over. Just think, this is only the first wave of defections, dropouts & kickoffs. He ask for this when he got away from Oklahoma values and went on his US Tour. That's where Barry had his problems when brought in all the West Coast kids. Bringing these kids in looked good on paper, but didn't translate to the field. Twitter freaks, Tattoos, Peroxide hair, Mohawks, Mullets, Jewelry adorned ball bags. They look like Capels players. Thank God for Militaty Academies.

The loss of Coker probably affects Iowa more than OU. Iowa will try to run the ball...no matter who carries it...they may get a little more creative in how they run the ball. Finch is another story. I am betting we throw the ball 50-60 times. Just not sure who is going to catch it! TEs should have a really big game.

Too bad for Coker and Iowa, but hey....OU has struggled with the injury bug to the befit of other teams. Who thinks Boise St. beats us if we didn't have all those injuries for that bowl or WV for that matter. So, we finally caught a break...now, how we respond is a whole other thing.

It's not game time yet and anything can happen. With Stoops he could very well discipline Finch and we wouldn't know until game time. Being short of backs as it is this would be a huge problem and Stoops is tight lipped, keeps issues in house at times. Finch may be limited in the Iowa game as far as playing time. He surely was not used as much as most thought he would against OSU. Who Knows?

To me this is bad luck. It is more satisfying to beat a team when their best is out there. Of course, I am not on the team, so maybe it doesn't really work that way...maybe you take whatever breaks you can.

The Arkansas back was sophomore Roland Sales who went on to become an all-American...but proved when you do not come to play...or think you have it won before the game starts, you can always get beat!

Let me remind you of the 1976 Orange Bowl in which Arkansas suspended three of their best player, including their best running back. All we had to do is win that game and we would win the National Championship. Guess what? Their third string running back ran up and down the field on us. We got crushed. I hope OU won't take this news and let their guard down, as they are prone to do.

A big plus for us because if any team can run on us and control the clock it has a huge effect on us. Our offense will either score quickly or go three and out you add that to long offensive drives by the opposing offense and our defense is on the field most of the game. This is something we have seen over and over and it results in defensive injuries and giving up points at the end of the 2nd and 4th quarter due to exhaustion.
