Travis lewis is part of the problem. Not part of the solution.He is a poor leader who doesn’t understand how the act in difficult situations. And, he damn sure can’t cover anyone on defense. What teammate really listens to a player who can’t perofrm but belittles others. Not!!!!!

I don’t think you are ever going attract a lot of fans if you keep going after the student athletes like you have with Travis Lewis in this article. You’ve been in town for, what, 4 or 5 months? It’s your free speech, but I for one would appreciate it if you would show at least a hint of understanding about this program before you started spending it ripping one of the more beloved players on the team. I hope you elevate your game, because lord knows this market is wide open to any writer with talent (given that it is such a rare commodity in these parts). The first step is to stop being led around by your nose following players on twitter. Step two is harder: Stop being a jock sniffing mouth breather.

Yep, if we get in a shoot out with Weeden, the odds are we do not win. OSU’s D has it’s weaknesses-teams can run the ball on them. If Stoops is smart hel will use a ground control offense to keep Weeden and Blackmon quiet.

Otherwise, look for a repeat of TT and BU.

Not controlling the tempo of the game by establishing some type of running game is killing us. Yes we lost by far the best all purpose back in the Big 12 due to season ending injury but that is no reason to completely abandon the run. We have the most talented fullback in college football, one of the best O lines in the NCAA and Finch is very talented, explosive and makes great things happen. There is no reason to go back to throwing the ball 98 percent of the time. For the first time in several seasons we were establishing drives that put points on the board and kept opposing offenses off the field. We are back to throwing most every down and defenses just pin their ears back and come after us. It places the defense on the field a majority of the game and they tire in the 2nd and 4th quarters, give up points, and result in key injuries. If we don’t establish the run next week OSU will control the clock, keep our defense on the field and they will become exhausted, break down and give up big points on the board. With the injuries we have and problems in our secondary the best defense is the offense controlling the ball and staying on the field with long drives keeping our defense and their offense off the field as much as possible. Can Stoops swallow his pride and abandon his hurry throw the ball, sloppy make mistakes offense!!

Not running down the clock while we were on offense is why we lost an opportunity to have a chance to win in OT after the stupid 2 point conversion penalty. Who knows if our D would have gotten the job done? That’s the pity of the whole thing, we did’t even get a chance and couldn’t even field the kick-off for a hail Mary!

Somebody show Tramel these comments. He thinks everybody is wrong and we don’t see the big picture. Looks like he’s got a big job ahead trying to convince fans that they really didn’t see what they thought Sat. Night. He wants to make you think that calling timeout was the cause of the loss.
