Good to see some facts on this page and an outside opinion. The voters that said LSU, Ala., OU, got it right. Stoops track record for the last 8-9 seasons speaks to the voters. All show & no go. Still over rated at #2. No D, Special Team Bust’s, No Run Game. It is what it is, and as long as Stoops has this Bond with his staff, nothing will change. SEC plays defense. Go to the NCAA stats and look at the rankings of team defense. Stats. don’t lie. Reguardless of what the “old guard” wants to make you think.

A little preliminary but the Pokes played a tough opponent, handled adversity, and came back to win. They have earned the #5 or #6 rating.

OU played a then #5 FSU now #23 which like noted in the article dropped one now to Clemson which is now #13. OU struggled with MO at first before gaining the lead and then towards the end of the game gave up two scores plus averted two failed field goals. MO gained some 532 yards… that does not bode well for the Sooners. But hey…it is early in the season and rankings change.
