It would be nice if i couldnt predict what play we are running this year!!!
If Landry is struggling, put Bell in for a series and pound it! If you give Bell 3 chances he will get a first down.
Play Texas Tech Mike Leach style. And nobody behind you on defense!

Is it just me, or does it seem like he trips himself a lot? He seems to fall down 2-3 steps after the catch. I think that’s why we haven’t seen his speed.

Remember, he is an 18 – 19 year old kid. Perhaps kick him to the bottom of the team as Wilkinson did to Joe Don Looney. Still, Looney played and made some big ones. Perhaps too much for Franks. Stoops is closer to it and he is not Bud or Barry (the ultimate players coach). Let Stoops call it, but Bob, please call him back to the hoot-owl squad until he can learn the rules. (The hoot-owls are those that when you hear their name, you say who, who with names that may not make the play guide).

It must be terribly hard to be an 18 – 19 yr old kid on a scholarship at a program like OU and NOT be cocky. All us armchair quarterbacks ought to just relax and let coach Stoops handle it. Afterall, he seems to have been effective in handling prior simiar situations. I remember when I was that age – it took Marine Corps boot camp to straighten me out! I think we are all guilty sometimes of forgetting that these kids are still just that – KIDS!! Coach Stoops can and will address the problem with the young man and I would wager that Franks will learn a lesson not only about football but about life too!

Maybe it’s just me but… I have heard a lot about Franks but have seen very little real playmaking from him. He may be fast but he doesn’t show it. He’s not elusive and rarely does anything that makes me stand up and take notice. I don’t think the offense will miss him much.

Band the Dat Gum twitter. Some players don’t know how to keep their big mouth shut. Jaz learned his lesson.. Trey you have to learn yours. This is for the coaches: you have to many weapons on the OU squad and you must find a way to use all of them even if you have two or three plays designed for them. Sooner Nation would like to see a mixture of Trey F, Roy F, Jaz R, Trey Millard, Brandon W when he is ready, Dejuan M. along with the regulars mix it up OU coaches let’s see some creativity. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
