I love the Big 12. I’m glad we are staying. Now, tomorrow if it changes back to the PAC 12, I’ll love that. I’m just saying what Daddy told me to say.

Texas showed the sports nation what an a** it is by acting like a kid who wants to have a cake & eat it too. Oklahoma got so fed up, it had a temper tantrum (I would too). When OK cooled, it came to its senses. Why would OK, #1 in football leave its own backyard & travel 2-3,000 miles & cross 1-2 time zones to play PAC? Texas commands everybody’s attention, yet it too went shopping for a house with smaller backyard when it was sitting on acres. Their Midwest sensibility & dignity went out the window while their ego grew & grew. Abandon Midwest for the west coast? Are you kidding me? And no, this wasn’t about money, but fairness, respect and decency. At the end, these two powerhouses put eggs on their face, and on each other. It’s time for them to grow up & act like powerhouse!

Judging from the Sports Writing on this Web-Site & New Owner of the DOK. The old guard is being moved out for a more responsible, educated,
intellect about what really happens in OK Sports. Putting Bebe on a pedestal about his handling of the Big 12, for current example. Considering the shape the conference is in, was, as we all found out, absurd. Mr. Trotter saw hanging with the “old guard” at the DOK was not a resume builder. He was motivated to be more than a Bennett “hey boy”.
Times were tough, OU didn’t have a pro-active leader. They had an, after the fact leader, now the ball is in his court, and he doesn’t now what to do. His remedy is “Go with the Big 12″-be a Texas Hey-Boy. No “juavos”

HEY JILL!! Level of competition? Sinking?? Did you seriously mean to say what you said?? what a LOAD of SOONER “Stuff”. Know your facts girl… ISU is 3-0 right now with wins over Iowa, and UCONN BOTH went to a bowl game last year. ISU has beaten Texas, and Nebraska ( should have again beaten them last year had it not been for an overtime interception from the fg kick holder) TCU! are you freaking kidding me? VERY tough team!!!come on KNOW your facts.. don’t be a hater!

All we have to do is keep winning one game at a time and everything takes care of itself. Texas, without a national championship, is just another Reality TV channel. Sooner or later their schoolboy ball will run afoul of the NCAA and the plug will be pulled. OU Nation spans this continent and an eighth national championship is something ESPN cannot EARN.

I never wanted OU to go to the PAC 12 in the first place and I thank the PAC 12 or 10 made fools out of OU. They used them to try to get Texas, to gave up their network. I believe there was no way they were going to take OU and OSU with out Texas. It is my understanding that SEC approached OU last fall with Texas A&M about joining the SEC. If they hadn’t let the PAC 12 or 10 make fools out of them they may have been able to have the SEC take OSU and Missouri, along with them and Texas A&M. I guess it is like they use to say in the fifties, California, is a sooners heaven, glad I came South.

Hello mediocrity. Thank you Texas. Reading between the lines: The PAC-12 isn’t interested in OU unless they can also have Texas, and Texas won’t give up it’s beloved network? We made a serious error last year in hanging our hat with Texas, and they’re going to collect money from ESPN while the conference starts circling the drain. But, no matter what happens from here on out, it doesn’t matter to Texas. They’ve got enough television sets to be welcome in any conference if they’ll play ball. We, on the other hand, are a small state with not so many television sets. If we don’t continue to play top ten football, at some point we’ll drop down to the level of our competition, which now looks like it will be SMU, Houston, TCU, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State. Screwed by Texas again.
