Linebacker corp. IS small and lacks experience. Some good players but certainly several steps below Travis and Box. I wonder how the defense will handle the run…they had problems with the run last year and these losses are BIG.

Also….I hear that Ronnel Lewis has some legal issues that are holding him back on eligibility. Who knows for sure but he too will be missed if he does not get to play.

Defenses win Championships….we are hurting in this area.

Damn Baldwin. Go back to basketball. It is NOT Clay or Whaley or Finch. Clay or Whaley is the starter, but undecided. Finch is listed as third string. The top player in an “either/or” scenario is NOT the “favored” player. The “ors” are listed alphabetically based upon surname. Jones is not listed “behind” Bird. Either/or will be second string, and we don’t know which yet. Haywood is NOT listed “above” Ratteree yet. Damn. Yet another awful blog.

Being No.2 or 3 QB is moot. They won’t play anyway no matter how far ahead they are. Landry can’t pile up stats for the Heisman setting on the bench.

The backup LB situation looks like a disaster. They’re all small, inexperienced, and not blue chip recruits. Pray for no more injuries at that position.
