The kid is a top-notch recruit who wants to play and thinks Indiana is a great fit. OU decided to stop waiting for him to make his decision and went with Knight (which will turn out fine, he’s got Heupel as QB coach for crying out loud). Kiel knew OU wasn’t interested in taking anymore QBs, hence the move to the Hoosiers.

Best wishes to Kiel, Indiana and coach Wilson. Sooners will be just fine.

And that will be enough for one of the blue bloods to give him a ring if/when a job opens up. I give Wilson 2-3 years at IU max.

OU will be just fine with Trevor Knight. He looks a little raw in his passing skills on film, but that can be developed. He is clearly a great athlete.

He’ll get some time to learn the system as he plays behind Blake Bell and then when his time comes he can step in and become yet another successful OU quarterback. Would rather have a guy that wants to be a Sooner as opposed to a guy that has his heart somewhere else.
