landry jones comes out of shoot 1, blazzing, with his teamates week in and week out an lead his team on. he should be at the top, but if i was landry that be the least on my mind the heisman trophy team comes first and individual team stats week in and week out. stay humble and hngry for the ball in all phases offense defense special teams get after it in 2011 before you know it college football around the corner. dedicate and bond together too make it happen in 2011, do this and the rest will take care of itself. the oklahoma sooners and the baltimore ravens are my favorite teams. take after my boy ray lewis when he puts on the war paint he brings it all on every play and expects his teammates too go all-out with him in every game. thats why i like my boy ray lewis, he will lay you out…. other wards he will tell you this is my house……. lol… go nyko symonds love your family from texas… and the rest of the sooners…..

As a season ticket holder and alumnus, I am not yet sold on this team based on Landry’s ability to throw key interceptions in the last 3 games last year.

Recievers don’t typically win the Heisman without also being return men or having other duties on the field as well. I think it will be a QB or a RB (maybe Richardson at Alabama has a chance too depending on how well they do).

Landry and Weeden have the best chance of that group.

Landry…Heisman….heck he did not even make Big 12 Quarterback this past year….Weeden did. Blackmon was the best player in the Big 12 last year..even if he does as well this year it is rare that a receiver wins the Heisman. Weeden, does not have all of the hype others do but if he picks up where he was last year and makes some improvement he should be well in the thick of the Heisman balloting. Landry has a shot but he is going to have to outperform Weeden…which he did not last year despite it being his second year as Quarterback. Remember last Year was Weeden’s first year as starting Quarterback and that means he should only get better this year.

This is just opinion article. There are no facts to it. If one looked at Landry and Weeden the stats show Weeden ahead. And stats show Blackmon well ahead of Broyles and both Weeden and Blackmon were selected by the experts to be all Big 12…..Landry was selected second team. Sooooo…why would Landry be the #1 heisman hopeful on this voters blog???? Could the voting be just a little bit skewed by the locals???
