NO! We didn’t play worth a dime. I watched the first half of the game just last week, then tore up the video and threw it in the trash. Broken coverage in the defensive backfield, Jason White having a terrible game throwing interceptions. That game SHOULD have been a close game, but OU made it a laugher. May we NEVER do that again. We just came apart at the seams is what happened. We didn’t fight back enough!

So I guess if by some chance this years Auburn squad played the Indianapolis Colts and lost, than Auburn doesn’t deserve to be champions, because they would have lost, even if its to a team that was ineligible…don’t be nieve…an ineligible team is just that. Bottom line is that we were the #2 team in the BCS, and if #1 is disqualified, it should go to the next in line, which is us. Auburn, take your grip with the AP, which you were #2 in. Let’s say you’re running for President on the Republican side, and you finished 2nd, but Mitt Romney won. After accepting the nomination, they find out he was born in Australia and is ineligible. You were next in line. Do you take it, or do you say “Well, I lost it in the vote, I won’t take it…”

Living in SoCal I remember the trojans bragging about a “threepeat” during the 2005 season. Now they have a NO Pete as in Pete Carroll.

And NO crystal footballs in their trophy case. That’s justice.

No, OU does not deserve the title after the way they played USC. I was at the game and, for the first time in my life I left an OU game early – even during the 3rd Qtr. I had my two sons and son-in-law with me and I was totally embarassed! The final score was even misleading because of late meaningless scores by OU. Let’s vacate the title.

One of the worst performances in the history of the program and unfortunately I was there to watch it in person. Bush got paid by a couple of guys that wanted to rep him as a pro. The NCAA can do whatever. The game was still played and this doesn’t erase the sick feeling I had after that game. I think some of my fellow Sooner fans just want some kind of revenge. USC was the better team but they weren’t that much better. They struggled to be an average UCLA team to close out the season. Too many of OU’s players were overconfidence and thinking about their pro career during bowl prep.

OU wins and loses ON the field. No, let the 55-19 loss stand but let’s not allow such a meltdown to happen again….it was the worst defeat in OU history given the score, the title implications, the fact that it was on prime time television and that OU never showed up.

Are you kidding? Auburn’s foobaw program is as dirty as they come, I have no idea why the BCS isn’t all over them too.
OU gets the title.

OU would be classless to accept the title. OU LOST badly to a vastly superior team. Any competitor would not accept that title and as an Alum, I would be embarrassed to even suggest we were champions that year. OU is bigger than that we don’t beg for championships we earn them on the field or court.

Why should OU be awarded the 2004 National Championship? We were not good enough to beat USC and win it on the field! Nor do I think Auburn should get it since they didn’t even play in the NC game! The BCS did the right thing…Finally!

I’m a huge OU fan…but, there is no way OU deserves that title..if anyone should be awarded the title, it should be Auburn for their perfect season. The way OU played and the way OU got handled on the field in no way deserves a title….besides, if we are all honest with ourselves most major D-I schools play with ineligible players…let’s not kid ourselves about Bush…
