I want to see the Cotton Bowl be the 5th bowl in the rotation. Give the Fiesta to the Mountain West! After all only 3 teams in history of college football have won all 5 traditional new years day bowls (Rose, Suger, Orange, Cotton, Fiesta) and OU is one of them. Plus the Cotton Bowl is older than the Fiesta and has THE BEST stadium now!!

I get sick of having to play teams in their own backyard (LSU 2003, Florida 2008). I think it would be nice to get to play a national title in our backyard. I’m not saying it should be an automatic bid for the winner of the Big 12 to play their every year, but I think it should be one of the BCS bowl spots and a stadium for the national title to be played once every 5 years.

OU & Texas play in Dallas every year and several other Big 12 teams play in Cowboys Stadium for regular season games. I don’t think any of those teams would be real excited to return to the town/stadium they’ve already played in during that season for their big bowl trip.
