Nick came to OU as a project type player. He made a real good impression – presumably with a solid work and practice effort. OU and other schools have had JC transfers who don’t look good at first. Nick is in that category. Sometimes they become good players their senior year. Nick did play some decent ball in some early season (November and December) games.

I think that with a full year in an aggressive strength program Nick would have become a decent rotation backup player. His numbers compare with C. J. Washington. And, I think C. J. will contribute in 2011 – 12.

That’s what happens when you get a real basketball coach. You find out who can compete. What a difference a month has made in the program. Everyday makes the Capel hire look more and more clueless. Wonder if Joe C. likes his Crow fried or grilled?

Nick Thompson is not that good of a ball player, no offense and no athletic ability….white man can jump but he’s one white man that can’t jump, score or defend…..seeya Nick
