Chuck, what’s your point? Nothing in this post nor any commment claims OU is one of the bluebloods in basketball. They have been a very solid program over the years, however. That’s what fans are hoping for again. This is also an OKLAHOMA newspaper. They are going to talk about OKLAHOMA athletics. Not sure what you are looking for.

can someone please tell me how many national championships ou basketball has? am i missing something? when was ou in the same conversation as kentucky, north carolina, duke, ucla. i never remember ou being a basketball powerhouse and i`m 51.

Capel was a fine coach, but needed to keep NCAA off our tail. Hope things work out.

Just like UT in football next year, the OU BB team will be better than expected. I look for Kruger to recapture the face of OU BB and I think he will do it by building character and team work.

Hell, they surprised many this year by winning just as many games as last year. I personally wasn’t expecting more than 2 wins with that roster.
